STANNEX Tin Oxide

STANNEX Tin Oxide has been used for electric melting in the glass industry for more than 40 years within a wide range of applications and furnaces types with outputs ranging from 1-160 tpd for many different glass types. Tin Oxide can be used in Melting, Refining and Boosting. Glassworks offer 4 main types of Stannex using differing additives in order to match the characteristics of the melted glass and the relevant connector requirements. Our technical staff can offer advice in these areas. (Nonstandard materials can be manufactured to suit) High quality glasses require high quality materials and Stannex Tin Oxide is manufactured from pure tin oxide and is isostatically pressed and sintered. No recycled nor reclaimed material is used Tin Oxide can often be the preferred electrode material for electric melting when pollution is to be minimised and high quality is essential. Glassworks first supplied the glass industry with Tin oxide in 1969. We also design and manufacture connectors systems (ISO09001) to allow the peace of mind of a complete supply. So with more than 40 years of independent knowledge put our experience to work for you.
